2. What should I expect during the initial consultation? We get to know your vision, discuss how you use the space and offer expert recommendations on design, materials and timeline - all tailored to your goals and buget.

3. How soon can you start my landscape project? Start dates depend on the project scope and current availability. We typically add projects to our schedule within 2 weeks of signed agreements.

PRICING + BUDGET:

1. How much does a WLDflora landscape design or design build project cost in Louisville and Southern Indiana? Pricing depends on the size and complexity of your project. We offer tailored solutions starting at $10,000 for basic enhancements and extending beyond $75,000.+ for medium scale to over $100,000 for large scale custom landscapes.

2. Can I get a quote before to a full project? Our commitment and signing process works in two distinct phases:

   1. The Design Phase: This phase begins after the initial consultation and is guided by a formal design agreement. Designs are reflective of the ongoing conversations we have with each client over the course of the design timeline. Fees for this phase typically range from $1,400 to $8,000 and up, depending on scope and level of detail.

   2. The Installation Phase: Once a design is approved, we provide a detailed proposal and contract. At this point, we go all in with the client, fully aligned on scope, materials, and pricing before construction begins.

3. Do you work with landscape budgets under $10,000? While most of our projects start at $10,000, we are always happy to hear your vision. In some cases we may be able to suggest phased solutions or enhancements that fit with a smaller budget.

MATERIALS + INSTALLATION:

1. Do you source sustainable or native plants for your landscape projects? Yes — sustainability is a core part of our design approach and philosophy. We regularly incorporate native Kentucky/Indiana/Ohio plants that thrive in the local climate and create lasting, low-maintenance beauty. These plants use minimal watering but still require consistent watering during the first two years of their life cycle to establish properly.

2. Can I choose the materials used in my landscape lighting project? Yes. You can select the style and finish of lighting fixtures for your project. We offer a variety of options including bronze, copper, and black finishes designed to complement your home’s architecture and landscape features. Our team will help you choose fixtures that enhance the beauty and functionality of your outdoor space.

3. Who handles the installation - your team or contractors? All installations are carried out by our in-house team of experts, as well as our trusted subcontractor teams with whom we’ve built long-standing relationships. That way, we can maintain the highest quality standards, ensure clear communication, and bring your design to life exactly as planned.
